We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Artisan Baker to join the team in our Restaurant in Strikes Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay start at £13.27 per hour, dependent on experience.
The hours for this role are 32 per week over 4 days. Weekend work is required, so flexibility is a must.
Role
As an Artisan Baker you will work as part of the kitchen team to produce a range of freshly baked goods each day, ensuring quality and freshness for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Produce daily scones, cakes and desserts.
- Follow recipes and production schedules to maintain consistent quality and quantity.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers and dough shearers.
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner.
- Collaborate with the Chef/Restaurant Manager to plan production.
- Monitor stock levels and contribute to ordering.
- Work efficiently to minimise waste.
- Maintain the highest food hygiene standards by cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Close down the bakery area each day, including preparation for the next day.
