The Arthur Terry School have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher, to join the Senior Leadership Team in our successful, oversubscribed school. This is a special opportunity for an inspirational and ambitious leader to build on our strong foundations of behaviour, culture and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Share in the strategic leadership of the school as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
- Strategically lead behavioural curriculum, personal development and attendance
- Motivate, coach and develop staff to ensure consistency and high standards of behaviour
- Monitor data, identify trends and work with relevant team to intervene early and ensure excellent student outcomes
- Be visible and lead a culture of “all of us, all the time”
Qualifications
- Be an experienced and excellent classroom practitioner and hold QTS
- Sky high expectations of student achievement
- Positive mindset with the energy and enthusiasm to inspire others
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff, students and parents/carers
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of world‑class behaviour and culture
