The Role
Matchday IT Support Assistant (Casual) You will provide first‑line technical support on a casual basis, ensuring hardware, software and network issues are resolved efficiently while helping to set up, configure and install new equipment to required standards.
This role involves maintaining accurate asset records, supporting equipment audits and assisting with operational needs, including occasional out‑of‑hours activity, to deliver reliable technical support across match days.
- Your day‑to‑day
- Provide essential technical support – deliver responsive first‑line assistance and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software and network connectivity.
- Set up and configure new equipment – ensure all new computers, workstations and associated cabling are installed, configured and deployed to required standards.
- Assist with asset auditing and maintenance – support the ongoing auditing, tracking and upkeep of user equipment and stock, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records.
- Support out‑of‑hours operational needs – provide additional assistance for ad hoc events, hardware rollouts and desk moves, including out‑of‑hours support when required.
- Maintain matchday IPTV and digital signage – carry out screen checks, validate content displays, report issues and provide first‑line troubleshooting to ensure a seamless matchday experience.
