  • Manage matchday programmes and staffing — you’ll oversee the casual matchday workforce, ball squad programme, mascot programme, and Gunnersaurus operations, ensuring exceptional experiences and smooth event delivery.
  • Coordinate community and special events — you will work with internal teams to create bespoke community experiences and support the delivery of major events, including cup finals and related activations.
  • Maintain stakeholder and governing body relationships — you’ll liaise with key football authorities, clubs, suppliers, and partners to ensure matchday activities meet operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee accreditation and compliance processes — you will manage supplier accreditation, risk assessments, and health & safety documentation to support safe and compliant event operations.
  • Champion supporter engagement — you’ll act as an advocate for our supporters, using audience insights to shape experiences, communications, and matchday messaging.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement — you will review supporter feedback, operational performance, and industry best practice to identify opportunities to enhance matchday operations and supporter experiences.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experienced event operations professional — you bring proven experience supporting the planning and delivery of major events or projects, with a focus on operational excellence and stakeholder coordination.
  • Commercially aware and brand focused — you have experience working within fast-paced, customer‑centric environments, ideally within sport, entertainment, or other high‑profile organisations where supporter experience is paramount.

  • Analytical and solutions focused — you demonstrate excellent problem‑solving skills, using initiative to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges.
  • Highly organised and adaptable — you thrive in fast‑paced environments, successfully managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and high standards of delivery.
  • Innovative and proactive in approach — you constantly seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance supporter experiences, and implement new ideas.
  • Values driven team player — you act with integrity, professionalism, and respect, demonstrating a collaborative approach, commitment to teamwork, and passion for achieving collective success.
