We are looking for an Underwriting Support Assistant to deliver highly efficient and accurate administration and data record support to all underwriting functions. You will assist to effectively write, renew and administer specialist insurance policies in line with business targets and requirements.
What you will do as an Underwriting Support Assistant:
- To prepare and issue insurance policy documentation, making changes as prescribed within the underwriting strategies and business plans and in accordance with an awarded underwriting
- Handling and directing telephone calls
- Checking Third Party databases and accurately recording results
- Preparation and production of client records
- Data entry quote preparation
- Preparation, production and delivery of policy renewal invitations
- Distribution of policy administration system-based post and emails
- Data inputting associated with core business functions
- Processing of appropriate policy record transactions in line with authority levels
- Production of management information reports and creating outputs for the business
- General office duties and other duties as assigned
- Undertake any training identified as being necessary for the position

- Office Administration experience (1 Year+)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- High levels of attention to detail
- Ability to undertake a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced business environment
