We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Pension Consultant to join our Pensions team at Benefiz. This opportunity has been created following the takeover of Benefiz by Diamant Group Towergate Employee Benefits, part of Everywhen, to support the anticipated growth in pension opportunities from existing clients. This role offers the flexibility of being home‑based, with occasional travel, approximately twice a year to attend face‑to‑face meetings and connect with the wider team.

Benefiz is an award‑winning independent workplace adviser, helping employers of all sizes offer benefits to their employees. We provide support to our clients typically with broking benefits, communicating benefits and administering benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the day‑to‑day client servicing of a portfolio of pension clients.
  • Act as the client’s main point of contact, arranging and participating in meetings and delivery of work in a structured manner including annual review meetings with clients.
  • Work effectively with the client servicing team to deliver work to a high quality, consistently and in a timely manner.
  • Providing effective support to the Senior Client management team.
  • Prepare, review and sign off reports, presentations and other client communications.
  • Develop existing fee revenue from clients by maintaining a positive client relationship and promoting new services.
  • Promote the culture, profile and behaviours required to support good customer outcomes.
  • Oversee specific client projects, including implementation of new pension schemes.
  • Assist in attaining new clients where appropriate.
  • Support relationships with external suppliers and providers by maintaining ongoing relationships with key contacts to assist the business and clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience of dealing directly with clients and the ability to manage client expectations with a confident and professional approach.
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge of Group Pension products in the marketplace.
  • Holds a pensions industry recognised qualification.
  • Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Applications.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with a 'can do' flexible approach.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing, including a professional telephone manner.
