What you will do as a Farm Underwriter:
- To underwrite and administer risks (including new business, renewals, and midterm adjustments) and issue accurate, compliant documentation on behalf of Insurers within Delegated Underwriting Authority limits, and personal product licensing allowances.
- To clearly demonstrate proactive follow-up of risks underwritten.
- Proactively demonstrate a high level of technical understanding commensurate with the licence held, and to actively progress underwriting licence attainment and technical understanding.
- Demonstrate a high quality of underwriting in accordance with the businesses Quality Control requirements and framework.
- Demonstrate an effective trading process and ability in line with individual business productivity expectations.
- Develop and maintain professional, effective internal and external relationships.
- Contribute positively and proactively to business development and change.
- Conduct all business activities in line with prescribed Group business standards, service standards, and regulatory frameworks.
What we are looking for in our next Farm Underwriter:
- Cert CII preferred
- Comprehensive underwriting knowledge and ability including specialist market and product knowledge
- A comprehensive level of specialist market and specialist product knowledge
- A working knowledge of the legal and regulatory insurance framework
