Overview
We are seeking a chef to join our team at a bustling restaurant in a rural location . The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be dedicated to delivering quality food . Experience preferred but training can be given This is a rural location and a driving Licence is essential for this role Duties
β Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment
β Ensure all food preparation meets high-quality standards and complies with food safety regulations
β Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service hours
β Help Create innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
β Help Oversee stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness Experience
β Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy restaurant or similar culinary setting
β In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation processes
β Strong understanding of menu planning, cost control, and portion management
β Ability to work well under pressure and manage time efficiently during peak hours
β Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality would be advantageous Job Type: Part-time Pay: Β£13.00-Β£13.50 per hour Expected hours: 20 β 30 per week Additional pay:
