The Role
As Renewals Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end renewal process for contracted-out tenancies, ensuring renewals are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with legal requirements.
You'll work closely with tenants and colleagues across the business to deliver a seamless customer experience while supporting wider commercial objectives.
This is a varied role where you'll balance customer relationships, administration, compliance and commercial awareness to ensure renewals are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Key Accountabilities
- Managing the full lifecycle of tenancy renewals across a large and varied property portfolio.
- Working directly with tenants to negotiate and progress lease renewals while delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory and governance requirements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and keep renewals progressing smoothly.
- Monitoring renewal activity against key performance indicators, identifying potential risks and taking proactive action to keep cases on track.
- Supporting debt recovery activity where required to enable successful completion of renewals.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting for renewal activity.
- Continuously developing your knowledge of property legislation and best practice.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
What We're Looking For
You'll be highly organised, customer-focused and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
You're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and ensuring every detail is handled accurately.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have
- Experience managing high-volume administrative or case management processes.
- A background in tenancy renewals, property administration or customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good commercial awareness and confidence working with data and systems.
- Strong IT and numerical skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships across teams.
- It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Knowledge of commercial property, lease structures or property law.
- MRICS qualification (or working towards it).
- A full UK driving licence.
