The Regional Site Facilities Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Site Facilities Managers to deliver a consistent, quality FM service ensuring our Estate is safe, legal and compliant. They are also accountable for ensuring their Team delivers all Operational elements of our Lease End process – in particular taking the property back on the termination date and the scope and delivery of all simple re-letting works which brings empty and derelict spaces back into use. Lastly, the RSFM is accountable for creating, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with all internal stakeholders and contractors to drive engagement, collaboration and improve operational delivery. They will develop and build the continuous improvement initiatives for the SFM Team, and they will also take the high level business strategies and implement at Team level as we continue through our transformation programme.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and coach the team to deliver our obligations within the lease end process, recording the condition of the property, scoping the space for reletting project works and securing the space.
- Coach and develop the team so they are able to confidently and competently take ownership of the scoping and delivery of all simple re-letting project works, liaising with internal teams and external contractors as necessary.
- Be integral to the success of the new maintenance service provider, utilising data and insight to ensure all reactive works are completed within agreed SLAs, coaching and upskilling the team to understand delivery and support the continuous improvement following go live.
- Ensure the delivery of the Operational Risk Management Inspections programme within your team to identify, manage and mitigate risk across the portfolio and ensure that the portfolio and all the assets therein are both head-lease and statutory compliant.
- Create, develop, and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal colleagues such as Heads of Property Management and Heads of Asset Management, coaching your team to replicate, and visibly lead in improving the appearance of the ArchCo portfolio & improving our operational delivery.
- Have a detailed understanding of the strategy of your portfolio, and ensure you are aligned with any operational changes, designing, translating, supporting and delivering any business change projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years professional experience directly related to the job role, ideally with relevant qualifications in Facilities Management.
- Demonstrated leadership expertise, and experience building and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience of leading change and transformation within your team.
- Solid proficiency in IT skills, including the interpretation of data, and using Power BI reporting.
- A proactive, positive team player with a strong customer focus ethos.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and leading regional teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, performance management, and data-driven decision-making.
- A strong commitment to team development, fostering collaboration, encouraging innovation, and driving continuous improvement.
- Ability to effectively translate and implement company strategy at the team level.
- Experience working within a Property Management business.
- Prior experience in Commercial Real Estate is advantageous.
- Possession of a full and valid driving license.
