We are seeking a passionate and innovative Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at The Appleton School. As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students to develop their Science skills and critical thinking. We are looking for an individual who can create engaging and challenging lessons that foster a deep understanding and appreciation of Science across all Key Stages.
Principal Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Science across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
- Establish a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and empowered to delve into challenging Scientific concepts with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and attainment through a range of formative and summative methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the Science curriculum, participating in departmental meetings and contributing to cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
