We are delighted to invite applications from class teachers to join us at The Federation of The Annunciation Catholic Schools, either at the Infant or Junior sites. The Annunciation Catholic Infant and Junior Schools are happy, friendly and successful schools with a strong sense of community.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a full-time Class Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning and is creative and innovative with the ability to inspire children. We welcome applicants for all Key Stages and will discuss preferences with the candidates appropriate to experience and needs of the schools.

Our governors are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is energetic, ambitious and inspirational.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work in a team and is keen to develop and share their own knowledge and expertise.
  • Is an excellent and committed teacher who has the drive and desire to improve the quality of education and can deliver an exciting curriculum.
  • Has experience or strong potential for future development, appropriate to their career stage.
  • Has sound curriculum knowledge.
  • Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed.
  • Can demonstrate high standards and expectations in all aspects of school life, including experience of supporting children with SEN.
  • Is able to communicate effectively to all members of the Federation team and collaborate well with others.
  • Is passionate about quality first teaching.
  • Has an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic School and a willingness to promote our values.

Shortlisting will take place on Friday 15th May with interviews to take place week commencing the 18th May. However, early applicants may be invited to interview sooner.
