Did you come into this job because you wanted to chase time sheets, travel to Aberdeen or get pulled into other people's politics? You want to work somewhere run by RBI’s, for RBI’s. Not somewhere your expenses get questioned, and progression is stifled by a finance director you’ve never met because they had a bad quarter.

Imagine promotions arriving unannounced, unexpected and not yet asked for. Handle a bit of work above your usual paygrade? Keeping everyone happy? Come up with an idea? Contribute meaningfully? You wouldn’t even have to wait for a review for a promotion, pay rise and recognition.

You’d work with people who consciously try to not make your week harder. Travel is sensible and local, they’re well resourced and plan on staying that way. They’re investing as heavily as possible in easy to use AI, and PM systems, while still keeping the human element of admin support to take away the worst of the reporting and compliance, admin and other boring stuff. You won't be under surveillance at any point either.

You can pick the kids up from school openly, take the jumper you don’t like back to the shop, or enjoy a long lunch. Nobody's keeping score as long as you’re doing your job. There’s no rigid office days, you can come and go as you please. There’s a company-wide bonus, based on the firm rather than you personally. Never not paid. More than enough for very fancy holidays.

You could enjoy up to 28 days off a year from day one, and after a bit of service that can go up to 38 days. Not including bank holidays.

What you'll need:

  • Registered Building Inspector, Class 2 D, E or F with commercial experience.
  • Confident running your own caseload and your own diary.
