You\'ll lead a team of 100 brand ambassadors, ensuring that every event night they go above and beyond for our customers. With a strong work ethic and team-player attitude, you\'ll also assist with day-to-day activities and communications within the team.

This exciting role requires flexibility, with a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts shared among the team.

As an Assistant Event Manager, you\'ll have the opportunity to:

• Motivate and lead a team of 100 brand ambassadors

• Establish and maintain relationships with ASG, Client Teams, Partners, and Agencies

• Act as the Duty Event Manager for O2 on Arena event nights and manage ad hoc events for the Client

• Assist with Client ad hoc off-site events (e.g., England Rugby/O2 Academy venues) as and when required

• Deputise for colleagues and management during absence leave when required

• Provide internal feedback and reporting within The O2 Events Team

• Ensure all internal systems are accurate and up-to-date

• Assist ASG with ad hoc promotional events when required

• Assist and participate in non-role related projects required by the Business and/or the Client

• Assist ASG Head Office with booking temporary staff to meet the Client\'s and ASG\'s needs; arrange recruitment drives as required and in line with the requirements of both the ASG and the Client

• Conduct staff appraisals and contribute to them

• Continually seek to improve working practices and processes

• Promote the company\'s ethics and standards in all aspects of the day-to-day role

• Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and encourage others to do so

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that the service provision exceeds our clients\' demands

• Uphold the company values at all times

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Previous experience in related roles

• Knowledge of the industry and the Client\'s market sectors

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products
