The Animal People Recruitment Company is partnering with a successful, entrepreneurial consumer-products business to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to become the senior finance lead within a growing, owner-managed group operating across manufacturing, international trading, e-commerce, consumer brands and property. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and leading a small finance team, you will take ownership of the finance function while providing the commercial insight needed to support continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Managing P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting
- Maintaining a rolling 12-week cash-flow forecast
- Managing working capital, debtors, creditors and stock
- Leading budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Providing commercial analysis and decision support
- Reviewing profitability across products, customers and suppliers
- Supporting pricing, promotions and supplier negotiations
- Improving manufacturing margins and stock management
- Strengthening financial controls, systems and processes
- Managing VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax
