Join Fuller’s: Where the true you thrives and diversity is embraced. At Fuller’s we don't just offer jobs, we invite you to celebrate your authentic self. Our four core values – doing things the right way, being part of the family, celebrating individuality and always asking what’s next? – define the essence of who we are.
The Anglers is a family-friendly pub in Teddington, occupying a great spot on the banks of the river. The location is peaceful, but the pub itself can get busy - the food here is extremely popular with visitors.
What can we offer you?
- 25% staff discount off food and drink, across all our pubs and hotels for you and your friends and family. Increasing to 30% after 1 year, 35% after 3 years and 40% after 5 years.
- A fair share of tips, paid on top of your pay.
- Discounted hotel stays.
- Access to ‘My Fuller’s’ – our online benefits platform where you can make savings at 100’s of retailers and access discounted gym memberships, cinema tickets and much more!
- Healthcare Cash Plan – after 1 year with us you will have access to a 24-hour GP service and the ability to claim your money back for dentist and eyecare appointments for example.
- Full induction and training.
- The opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
- The option to receive up to 35% of your earnings as you earn them with Wagestream.
Could you be the key to real team spirit? We are looking for a Deputy Manager who is a confident, capable leader and will relish the responsibility of running the pub. As you will be in the heart of the action in both motivating and supporting the team as well as creating a special atmosphere for customers, you will be a great communicator and have strong decision-making and organisation skills.
The great thing about Fuller’s is that we hire on the basis of potential, more than on previous experience, as it’s the personalities in our pubs that make the difference. You’ll need to take ownership of problems, and you’ll live by a mantra of ‘always doing the right thing’ – even if it occasionally means bending the rules.
You will be working alongside the General Manager to ensure the success of the pub and simultaneously learn the skills behind running a business. With Fuller’s support, this puts you on the road to progressing your career further into a General Manager role.
