What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a small team of established Legal Cashiers.
- Responsible for all financial transactions and financial functions of the business, ensuring these are handled in accordance with the SRA accounts rules.
- Liaising closely with all parties concerned to ensure smooth and timely processes.
- Liaising with fee earners and other members of the team to resolve fee queries.
What you’ll have:
- Previous experience of working as a Legal Cashier / Senior Legal Cashier within the legal sector, ideally within conveyancing.
- A meticulous and professional attitude towards your work.
- Familiarity with banking practices and processes (including BACS, CHAPS, etc.), alongside a good knowledge of the SRA accounting rules and regulations.
- People‑management experience would be an advantage.
