Duties
- Effectively manage a mixed case load of conveyancing transactions including sales, purchase, freehold and leasehold cases.
- Ensure that you and junior team members keep any third-party websites up to date in real time in line with third party requirements.
- Help to eliminate client service issues by dealing with any potential complaints as soon as they arise and working with the Client Services Manager on formal complaints to ensure they are addressed swiftly.
- Prepare the necessary documentation as required with the conveyancing process in line with our policies and procedures.
- Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion statements and invoices.
- You will be responsible for completions on the day of completion.
- Ensure that you and junior team members comply with all company policies and procedures ensuring breaches do not occur; should a breach occur, you will help to rectify this immediately.
- Mentor, motivate and train more junior members of the team ensuring that they are adequately trained to fulfil their duties effectively.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years solid experience in a similar role.
- Conveyancer / Senior Conveyancer.
- Running a small case load of straightforward conveyancing transactions.
- Experience of using a case management system (we use Proclaim).
- Confident in building and maintaining business relationships through excellent communication and service delivery.
