The Governors of Sneyd Academy are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Classroom Teacher to join our friendly and professional team. The post is for 32.50 hours per week, Fixed Term until 31st August 2026, MPS, Actual Salary £32,916- £45,350. Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome. The post is managed by Principal Mrs R Lee and requires an immediate start where possible.

The successful candidate will have the strongest commitment and passion to drive the success of the Academy forward, be a very motivated team player in a highly effective staffing team, demonstrate exemplary primary classroom practice, expect excellence from our children, be a team player and a strong advocate for change and academy improvement.

Our academy is a large and diverse primary academy with happy children and staff and an exciting curriculum. We ensure that children are shown compassion, understanding and care whilst also providing the very best teaching possible. Everything we do is centred on the children and what would benefit each and every individual. As a result, our children enjoy learning and make good progress academically, but also socially, morally and spiritually.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
