The Role
The Digital & Advertising Sponsorship Executive is responsible for connecting leading B2B brands with our professional communities through digital demand generation, data, media services, online display advertising, and influencer campaigns. This commercially focused role thrives on building client relationships, solving problems creatively, and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow the pipeline across digital sponsorship and advertising channels, including website placements, newsletter sponsorships, influencer programs & campaigns, and lead‑gen content like webinars and white papers.
- Prospect, pitch, and close deals across both net‑new and existing accounts.
- Package and sell advertising opportunities across high‑traffic websites, membership platforms, and digital communities, leveraging organic engagement and deep audience trust.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through strong pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting, and a results‑driven mindset.
- Partner with clients to understand their goals and build solutions that drive measurable impact.
- Provide tailored recommendations and feed insights back into product and content roadmaps.
- Stay ahead of trends within SaaS, martech, AI, and digital education spaces.
- Identify new commercial opportunities and proactively propose ideas to capitalize on them.
Requirements
- Deep understanding and proven track record of prospecting and developing strong relationships with enterprise customers (18+ months preferred).
- Determined and focused, enjoying the challenge of hunting and closing net new business.
- Tough targets without fear; proven record of not just meeting but exceeding them.
- Comfortable experimenting with tactics, shaking up strategy, adapting to new trends and incorporating new products or changes.
- Strong sense of ownership from day one, ready to elevate the role.
- Excellent time management and prioritization of daily tasks and long‑term plans.
- Experience with Asana or other project management tools a plus.
Location
The role can be Hybrid in our London office or fully remote across the UK (not abroad).
Salary
Base Salary range £32K - £38K (based on previous experience) – OTE £60K+.
