This post is employed by Alliance Psychological Services; however, the successful candidate will work as part of the wider Tees Valley Getting Help partnership contributing to a truly collaborative & integrated model of care.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward‑thinking, system‑wide approach helping to transform how mental health support is delivered to children & young people across the Tees Valley.
The post holder will be part of a wider team that collaboratively provides high‑quality brief and evidence‑based support that is sensitive to the unique needs and experiences of children & young people.
The partnership, led by TEWV, brings together local organisations including The Link, The Junction, Alliance Psychological Services, Changing Futures Northeast and Teesside Mind to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to children & young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including Low‑intensity CBT, Parent‑Led CBT Anxiety, The Decider Skills and Parent Support for Behaviour, Manchester Model/Investing in Play.
- Perform assessment, intervention and collaborate with other agencies.
- Offer brief and evidence‑based support that is sensitive to the unique needs and experiences of children & young people.
