Giant NYC-style pies. American-style sides. Spritz cocktails in the garden on a summer evening. EVE is Kensington's New York-inspired pizza joint, and we're looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who can bring the big-city buzz to every shift.
Set inside Ember Locke Kensington, part of the Locke family and White Rabbit Hospitality, EVE is a restaurant, bar and café that runs from first coffee to last cocktail. Mornings start with breakfast, pastries and laptops in the café. Afternoons and evenings bring pizza, sides and desserts for dine-in guests, groups and private events. And when the sun's out, The Garden at EVE opens for al fresco dining.
The role
As Restaurant Supervisor, you'll be the heartbeat of service. You'll work alongside the Restaurant Manager to run fast, friendly, memorable shifts, and you'll lead the team by example.
You will:
- Run the floor across restaurant, bar, café and garden service, keeping things sharp, warm and on time
- Brief, coach and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, baristas and runners before and during every shift
- Deliver standout guest experiences and handle feedback confidently and gracefully
- Work closely with the kitchen to keep tickets moving and the pass flowing
- Support the smooth delivery of private events and group bookings
- Help with rotas, cash-up, stock checks and opening and closing procedures
- Uphold food safety, licensing and health and safety standards at all times
- Step up and lead the restaurant when the manager is off
About you
- You have experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Manager or a strong Head Waiter ready for the next step
- You thrive in busy, high-energy service and stay calm when the room is full
- You lead with warmth, confidence and a sense of humour
- You care about the details, from a clean table to the last goodbye
- You love great pizza and good cocktails, and want to know the menu inside out
- You're flexible across early, late and weekend shifts
