A brand new opening. A fresh brigade. A section to make your mark on from day one. We are opening Alto at Locke Canary Wharf, and we are building our kitchen team from the ground up. Headed up by the brilliant Chris Dargavel, Alto is a brand new restaurant in one of London's most dynamic districts, and we are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the founding brigade. This isn't a role where you slot into an established kitchen. As a new opening, you will be there from the very beginning, helping to shape the standards, the culture, and the food from the first service. If you run a section with real pride and want to help build something from scratch, we want to hear from you.
White Rabbit Hospitality is built on a love of proper hospitality and seriously good food. Alto will be no different.
Our Values, In Every Service:

- WE PURSUE EXCELLENCE – You take pride in consistency, precision, and a section that runs flawlessly.
- WE ARE ALL ENTREPRENEURS – You watch waste, manage stock, and take ownership of your part of the kitchen.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Helping to launch a brand new kitchen and get your section running from day one.
- Running your own section confidently and consistently during service.
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Supporting the senior team and stepping up wherever needed.

- Supporting stock control, ordering, and the reduction of waste.
- Helping to build a positive, high-energy kitchen culture from the start.
What Do You Need?
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Solid cooking skills across a range of techniques and a genuine passion for great food.
- The ability to run a section calmly and confidently under pressure.
- A team-first attitude and the energy for an exciting new opening.
- A good understanding of food safety and health and safety standards.
- Reliability, drive, and real pride in your craft.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
What We Offer:
- An OTE of £17.20 per hour.
- The chance to be part of an exciting new opening from day one.
- Genuine training and progression within a fast-growing hospitality group.
- Real investment in your skills and your career.
Joining a new opening means your work shapes the venue from the very first service. For many of our senior chefs, Chef de Partie is where real momentum begins, and there is no better place to build it than at a launch.
