Graduate Cambridge sits on the banks of the River Cam, a short stroll from the colleges, the punts and the buzz of the city centre. From weddings and private dinners to conferences, drinks receptions and college celebrations, our events are where some of the city’s biggest moments happen.
We’re looking for casual F&B Team Members to join our events team. If you love a lively shift, enjoy working as part of a crew, and get a buzz from making guests’ big days even better, we’d love to meet you. No events experience? No problem. Bring the energy and the smile, and we’ll teach you the rest.
What you’ll be doing
Everything we do is guided by our ethos, work hard and be kind, and our four values. As an F&B Team Member, you’ll bring them to life at every event.
Hospitality is at our core. You’ll serve food and drinks at weddings, receptions, dinners and conferences, delivering warm, attentive and genuinely personal service that guests remember long after the night ends.
We do the right thing. You’ll follow food safety, allergen procedures and responsible alcohol service on every shift, and look out for your teammates as much as your guests.
We pursue excellence. You’ll help set up and break down event spaces, from laying tables and polishing glassware to setting bars, and take pride in the details that make an event feel special. You’ll work closely with the events, kitchen and bar teams to keep service smooth and on time.
We are all entrepreneurs. You’ll get to know our menus and drinks, recommend with confidence, and bring ideas for how we can make each event even better.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel or events environment is great, but a positive attitude matters most
- A friendly, confident manner with guests
- A team player who stays upbeat and keeps going when things get busy
- Good attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Availability for evenings and weekends, when most of our events take place
- The right to work in the UK
