Overview
We’re recruiting for a Senior Stage Door Supervisor to join the team at the Alexandra in Birmingham\’s city centre. You’ll work as part of a friendly, welcoming team at our Stage Door, the reception for staff members and visitors, including the production companies bringing their shows to our theatre, and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent Stage Door service and welcome, maintaining security and high standards of health and safety.
- Provide flexible support to visiting companies and other venue departments.
- In this senior role, take responsibility for team leadership tasks, including creating the rota and confirming the accuracy of timesheet information for payroll.
- Support the Technical Manager in training other members of the team.
- Take an active role in risk management for the venue, including attending risk management meetings.
- Work on a rota basis with the rest of the team; the Stage Door is staffed whenever the building is open, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience from within the entertainment sector is welcomed but not essential.
