Location: Great Fosters Hotel, Egham, Surrey, TW20 9UR. The Tudor Pass is a Michelin-starred and 3 AA Rosette award-winning restaurant located in The Great Fosters Hotel. We are seeking a waiter/ess to join our new team, providing top‑tier service during our lunch and dinner (Wednesday to Saturday) services.

The Role

You will work as part of a small team of three, offering guests the best of service and care.

Main Duties

  • Prepare the Tudor Room for each service
  • Laying each table with care and attention to details; cleaning and polishing cutlery and glassware to ensure the tables sparkle
  • Welcome, greet and seat guests
  • Discuss menu items with guests and assist with wine choices
  • Deliver outstanding food service across all tasting menu items
  • Deliver excellent standards of beverage and wine service
  • Coach and support your Commis Waiter/Waitress
  • React to guest requests and action points from satisfaction checks
  • Support the Restaurant Manager to resolve any service issues
  • Reset the restaurant at the end of the shift, ready for the next service
  • Ensure work area is clean and tidy before departing

Requirements

  • 4 days, 40 hrs per week, Wednesday to Saturday each week, lunch and dinner service.
  • Smart appearance, excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service.
  • Attention to fine details in set up and service.
  • Knowledge of food and wines to be able to confidently communicate with guests.
  • Experience in fine dining or tasting menus would greatly help.
