Flexible daytime or evening shifts available at Langshott Manor Hotel, part of Alexander Hotels, a private group of quality hotels just outside London. The hotel is a 4 AA Star, award-winning Elizabethan Manor House set in 3 acres of stunning grounds.

We are seeking Casual General Hotel staff to support our full-time staff during weekdays or weekends. Shifts include: 7am – 1pm, 9am – 5pm, midday – 5pm, or 5pm/6pm – midnight, providing flexibility for candidates.

Working in our award-winning Mulberry Restaurant (2 Rosette standard), duties include:

  • Preparing the restaurant/private dining room for service
  • Meeting and greeting guests
  • Taking guest orders
  • Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages
  • Completing satisfaction checks
  • Resolving any service issues
  • Presenting bills to guests and taking payment
  • Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift
  • Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing

Requirements:

  • Smart appearance
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service
  • Experience within a customer service environment, ideally within food service hotel/restaurant
  • A positive customer service attitude; training is available for those with the right attitude who lack food service experience
