Barnett Hill Hotel, part of Alexander Hotels, is a private collection of quality hotels of distinction just outside London. Barnett Hill is a beautiful Queen Anne style property, built in 1905, set within 26 acres of lovingly maintained gardens and woodlands, sitting in the heart of the Surrey Hill area of outstanding natural beauty just outside Guildford, Surrey. This idyllic location is 15 minutes from Guildford town and 45 minutes from Central London.
The hotel features a 4 Star, 2AA rosette restaurant, 56 bedrooms, and conference and banqueting facilities for up to 120 guests, all within the grounds of 26 acres of woodland and beautiful gardens. The Oak Room restaurant has been awarded 2 AA rosettes, and the 1905 Bar and Café offers more informal dining with sunny outside terraces for summer service outdoors. Afternoon Tea is a popular choice for residents and visitors, with a variety of menus to suit every taste and occasion.
THE ROLE
We are seeking an energetic worker with a good eye for detail to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms and bathrooms. Weekday and weekend shifts with flexible start times are available.
Duties include:
- Cleaning of guest bedrooms; stripping and changing bed linen daily, cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming
- Resetting of hospitality trays and guest information packs
- Corridor cleaning
- Stocking of linen for the following day
- Assisting with public area cleaning when required
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and energetic about cleaning and presentation
- Methodical in working routines
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekdays and weekends
