A part time Spa Receptionist is required at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, located in East Grinstead, West Sussex. The position offers a salary of £11,566.10 per annum plus a monthly service charge payment.
Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa is part of Alexander Hotels, a private group of quality hotels of distinction just outside London. The award-winning Utopia Spa features 21 treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, an indoor pool with monsoon showers, a hydrotherapy pool, and a private Zen Garden with a barrel sauna and outdoor hot tub.
The Role
We are seeking a Spa Receptionist to work with our small, dedicated team to ensure that our Spa guests, members, and residents have a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Main duties include:
- Welcoming guests, residents, and members to the Utopia Spa
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Taking individual treatment bookings
- Showing guests around the facilities on arrival
- Liaising with food and beverage departments for guests' lunch/tea orders
- Liaising with therapists and the Spa Manager regarding clients' schedules and last-minute booking changes
- Compiling bills for Spa Guests before departure
- Completing daily balancing/banking for the spa ready for the accounts team
- Adhering to Mystery Guest Standards criteria throughout the working day
Requirements
The role requires 17.5 hours over 3 days per week, including early (7.30am – 3.00pm) and late (12.45pm – 8.15pm) shifts, with weekend shifts being part of this role. Candidates should possess:
- Excellent personal presentation
- A genuine interest in Spas and Beauty
- Computer literacy and good attention to detail in administration
- Previous beauty knowledge is a distinct advantage
