Salary: £29,000 per annum + monthly service charge payment, 42.5 hours per week with paid overtime.

Role Duties include:
- Producing food for all service periods
- Prep, production, service to standard
- Assisting with orders, stock control, menu planning
- Supporting Head/Sous Chef
- Deputising
- Teamwork
- Kitchen cleaning
- HACCP compliance
- Continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
- Produce food for all service periods in the Restaurant, Brasserie, Fine dining, Bar food, Room Service, and Afternoon tea
- Preparation, production and service of food to the required standard in a timely manner
- Assist with daily/weekly orders for food and kitchen supplies, adhering to stock control procedures
- Responsible for receiving and storing all relevant food and non-food items
- Assist Head/Sous Chef with menu planning and composition
- Support Head and Sous Chef with menu design for restaurant, afternoon tea, banqueting menus
- Deputise for the Head Chef/Sous Chef in their absence, supervising kitchen, internal communication, attending meetings
- Practice and promote effective teamwork and communication among colleagues and other departments
- Carry out daily cleaning duties within the kitchen, following ‘clean as you go’ policy
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food hygiene, health and safety systems
- Complete duties with a culture of striving to exceed standards, promoting improvements and raising quality of feedback
Qualifications:
- Experience working 5 shifts per week (42.5 hrs per week) with paid overtime
- Practical ability to produce plated dishes to a rosette standard (demonstrated in trial shift)
- Experience managing multi-menu requirements
- Live locally or able to relocate to area with own transportation
