The 5 Red Star Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of the very successful Alexander Hotels Group, has an outstanding environment and range of facilities. The award-winning Utopia Spa at Alexander House Hotel is looking for a Senior Spa Therapist to join our dedicated team. The outstanding facilities include 21 treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, inside the pool with monsoon showers, hydrotherapy pool, and a private Zen Garden featuring a barrel sauna and outdoor hot tub, creating the perfect environment to deliver amazing experiences to our guests. We offer an extensive range of treatments and carry a wide range of products (Temple Spa, OSKIA of London) allowing continuous training and development and our large team allows for steady progression towards work aspirations.
This is a new role to support our full-time spa team in delivering excellent service and facilities to our guests, members and visitors to our Utopia Spa.
Duties will include:
- Acknowledge and interact with guests throughout the public areas, spa garden and pool area helping with requests and service requirements.
- Ensure the facilities are well presented at all times and that all areas are fully stocked ready for guests.
- Help guests with complimentary beverages and treats at morning arrival and thereafter taking orders and delivering beverages to spa guests during their day.
- Answering any guest queries.
- Assist Spa Reception team with guest arrivals and show rounds helping ensure a smooth arrival process.
- Help return crockery to pot wash and ensure replacements are available.
- Ensure the Spa Shop is well maintained and neatly stocked. Assisting guests with any enquiries as needed.
- Help Spa Reception Team maintain stock levels by informing the Spa Supervisor of items that need to be ordered.
- Help Spa Team maintain retail stock levels by informing the Head Therapist of items that need to be ordered.
- Help inform maintenance of any issues and help establish time frames for issue to be resolved.
The Requirements:
- Ability to work Friday/Saturday 12pm to 8pm and/or 2pm to 8pm.
- Smart appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for guest service.
- Food and beverage service experience ideal but not essential.
