Casual Housekeeping Porter (weekends included) – The Alexander Hotel Collection
Location: Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa, Top Dartford Road, Wilington, Dartford, Kent, DA2 7QH
The Place: Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of Alexander Hotels, a private group of quality hotels of distinction just outside London. 4 Star, Award winning Utopia Spa, 38-bedroom hotel together with the Clockhouse banqueting suite and Pavilion conference venue all within the grounds of 15 acres of beautiful gardens.
Responsibilities
- Stock linen cupboards on the guest corridors with sheets, pillowcases, duvets and towels
- Strip beds ready for Housekeeping Assistants to remake with clean linen for arriving guests
- Clear dirty linen from the bedrooms and corridors
- Count linen in and out to ensure good and economical stock control
- Sort reject linen from circulation
- Assist Housekeeping Assistants with vacuuming duties
- Assist Housekeeping Assistants with deep cleaning / spring cleaning of rooms by moving furniture / turning mattresses
Requirements
- Physically fit with no back problems
- Energetic worker
- Experience of safe lifting techniques
