Overview
Afternoon Tea Supervisor at The Alexander Hotel Collection. Location: Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, East Street, Turners Hill, East Grinstead, West Sussex. Salary: £27,750 per annum + monthly service charge.
The Role
Working in our lounges and outside terraces (weather permitting), you will oversee the service of afternoon tea and other food and beverage for residents, spa guests and local visitors. Shifts are on a pattern across 5 days including weekends, starting at 9:00/9:30 and finishing at 18:00/18:30, 42.5 hours per week.
Main Duties
- Ensure lounges and terraces are prepared for service, presentable and welcoming
- Meet and greet guests
- Take guest orders
- Coach employees to develop skills and ensure service standards
- Serve food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages
- Complete satisfaction checks and act on feedback
- Resolve service issues
- Present bills to guests and take payment
- Clear and reset lounge/terraces at end of shift
- Keep work areas clean and tidy before closing
