About the Role: The Alcohol Company is looking for a creative, commercially focused Marketing & Social Media Executive to bring our marketing and social media activity in-house. Our social media has previously been managed externally, and we are now looking for someone who can take full ownership of our brand, content and digital presence. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our marketing strategy, develop a distinctive brand voice and create engaging campaigns that increase awareness, attract new customers and support the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage our marketing and social media strategy.
- Create and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Produce engaging photography, video and written content.
- Manage daily content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Promote our products, brands, events, partnerships and company news.
- Plan and manage paid social media and digital advertising campaigns.
- Create email campaigns, promotional materials and website content.
- Coordinate product photography, video shoots and promotional campaigns.
- Build relationships with customers, venues, suppliers, influencers and industry partners.
- Respond to social media comments and messages professionally.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports.
- Identify relevant trends and new opportunities to grow our audience.
- Ensure all content reflects our brand values and promotes alcohol responsibly.
- Work closely with the wider team to support sales and business objectives.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is creative, organised and confident working independently. You should have:
- Previous experience in marketing, social media or content creation.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience creating high-quality photo and video content.
- A strong understanding of social media platforms and current content trends.
- Experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns.
- An eye for design and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- A commercially focused approach to marketing.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative tools.
- Confidence analysing campaign results and using insights to improve performance.
- Experience within the drinks, hospitality, retail or events industries would be advantageous.
