The Albion Academy is seeking a PE teacher to teach across the ability range for Key Stage 3 and 4. You will support the Curriculum Area Leader of PE to continue to develop the department. The academy is located in Salford, within a rising Trust delivering high standards and a strong focus on student behaviour and achievement.
Rated 'Good' by OFSTED (July 2023), the academy has a positive staff survey response around leadership support, alignment, vision and investment. Responsibilities
- Teach PE across Key Stage 3 and 4 for students across the ability range.
- Support the Curriculum Area Leader of PE to develop the department and maintain high standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning across the academy, in line with trust-wide practice.
- Participate in staff development and INSET days as part of ongoing professional growth.
- Ensure high standards of student behaviour, safeguarding and welfare in line with school policy.
