This is a full-time role located in Devizes, Wiltshire for a qualified Accountant with some experience of managing a client portfolio. Responsibilities will include:
- Building & managing client relationships
- Providing advisory services
- Preparing/reviewing accounts & tax for individuals, SMEs, and Social Enterprise clients
- Supporting tax planning
- Managing assurance reporting
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Providing support for fellow team members
- Working within the team to help develop and improve workflows and processes
Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (or be able to demonstrate a clear track record to underpin being QBE)
- Strong skills in Accounts Preparation, Tax Compliance, and Financial Analysis
- Proficiency in managing and advising a client portfolio with a personal client-focused approach
- Experience with financial software tools and digital accounting systems
- Curiosity and interest in using AI to support your decision making processes
- Leadership and mentoring skills for managing team workflows and development
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Able to commute to Devizes to be part of the team
