We are looking for talented and motivated Cloud Software Developers (front-end, back-end, full-stack) to help us deliver and scale modern, cloud-based applications that support internal operations and enhance our client services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on greenfield and near-greenfield projects, helping to define development practices, pipelines, and standards from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based software solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, MAUI, Blazor, MVC, AKS, CosmosDB, and SQL Server.
- Create and size technical tickets based on user stories using JIRA, and participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Discuss and help prioritise BAU, technical debt, and project-based work items.
- Build clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with solution designs and development standards.
- Write and optimise SQL and NoSQL queries as part of application development.
- Integrate third-party components including APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Identify and log bugs or tech debt during development; raise and prioritise them with the team.
- Upgrade outdated packages and libraries to avoid deprecated functionality.
- Test system changes to confirm new functionality aligns with existing behaviours and user requirements.
- Gather and respond to feedback from users and stakeholders to improve system performance and usability.
- Conduct and contribute to code reviews, offering and accepting constructive feedback to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
- Follow team-defined deployment processes for building and releasing software across environments.
- Use version control tools (e.g. Git) effectively as part of day-to-day workflow.
- Contribute to and help shape engineering standards, pipelines, tools, and ways of working β especially in greenfield or modernised areas.
- Participate in business and ad-hoc meetings to support wider project delivery.
- Share knowledge with teammates to solve technical challenges collaboratively.
- Demonstrate strong coding comprehension β able to pick up othersβ work and make changes without disrupting stability.
- Relevant experience in cloud software development using C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET Core, and Azure services.
- Working knowledge of Blazor, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end integration patterns.
- Experience working in Agile development teams and practices.
- Familiarity with Git, unit testing frameworks, and modern development practices.
- Comfort using tools like JIRA to manage and track work.
