Driver and Warehouse Operative
Location: Chesterfield, S40 1UT
Hours: Part time, 32 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing
The Driver/Warehouse Operative supports the smooth running of regional logistics operations, including collecting and delivering stock, furniture, and donated goods, and handling and processing items within the warehouse. This customer‑facing, active role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a values‑led approach to teamwork, safety, and service.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable with manual handling of heavy and bulky items
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery environment
- Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and goods movement practicesUnderstanding of the geographical working area
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience completing delivery records, stock sheets, or basic admin tasks
- Strong team player, clear communicator, and self‑motivated contributor
- Conscientious and reliable, with good attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience with donations, second‑hand goods, or in a charity environment
- Experience supporting volunteers or working in a team with varied abilities
- Ability to identify items of high value or suitable for online resale
