The Ainsworth Collection is looking for a part-time Guest Relations Assistant to join our reservations team. Located in our office overlooking Padstow Harbour, our guest relations team is the beating heart of our business; every guest's experience begins here.
We are seeking a strong customer-focused, organised individual with an excellent telephone manner and a background in customer service. A working knowledge of computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook are desirable, but ongoing training and support will be given.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking customer bookings for our restaurants and bedrooms and managing our online bookings.
- Answering customer and supplier queries via telephone and email.
- Taking payments for our vouchers and stays.
- Keeping accurate notes on customer bookings including special occasions, dietary requirements, etc.
- Building a database that in turn gives our customers the very best experience possible.
- Ensuring the right information is passed on to the relevant managers and team regarding every reservation.
- Understanding company policies and booking procedures to relay correct information to our customers.
- Assisting restaurant managers with printing of menus, lunch and dinner reservations.
- Working with hospitality programmes E Restaurant, Rez Control, and Gifted.
