There is an expectation to attend the office around one day per week - head office is based in the Midlands. You’ll be responsible for winning new business while also managing and developing existing client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships continue to grow.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and targeting new opportunities across structural, secondary and architectural steel markets
- Building and developing strong relationships with contractors, engineers, architects and key project stakeholders
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and meetings through to proposals, negotiation and contract award

- Managing and developing existing accounts to maximise repeat business
- Maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities and managing your own sales diary and client activity
- Keeping CRM systems updated with pipeline activity and forecasts
- Ensuring smooth handover of secured work to project and delivery teams
About you

- The ability to interpret drawings and discuss technical requirements with clients and engineers
- Strong relationship-building skills across contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- A proactive and organised approach, able to manage your own diary and priorities
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to negotiate and close deals
Why this opportunity?
- A well-established and respected fabrication business
- A role with real autonomy and trust to manage your own pipeline and relationships
- A balance of new business development and account management
- A supportive team environment with strong collaboration between sales, estimating and project teams
