The Role
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machining centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality, efficiency and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines and CNC machining centres
- Edit CNC programs and tooling offsets where required
- Manufacture precision-engineered components to engineering drawings
- Produce components to tight tolerances
- Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain quality, productivity and health
