Are you a commercially savvy Account Executive or Business Development Executive with a passion for spirits and the On Trade sector? This is your chance to step into a national role and make a real impact!  The Business: I\’m recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and fast-growing spirits distribution business that works across a diverse portfolio of brands, from accessible crowd-pleasers to premium, craft-led labels. With deep expertise in sales, marketing and long-term customer relationships, they partner with some of the most exciting names in the drinks industry, and they’re now looking for their next rising star in the North West  The Role: As National Account Executive, you’ll support the On-Trade Lead to deliver commercial success across key national and regional on-trade groups, wholesalers, and RTM customers. This is a high-visibility role with real scope to shape growth in some of the UK’s most influential hospitality accounts. Support the delivery of commercial plans across a portfolio of national and regional on-trade customers. Develop and manage strong relationships with wholesale partners and RTM routes. Collaborate closely with key wholesalers to ensure effective brand representation and drive volume. Analyse sales performance and customer data to identify growth opportunities and optimise account strategies. Implement promotional plans and support brand activations across target venues and customer groups. Represent the brand portfolio at trade shows, tastings, and industry events. Work cross-functionally with brand and marketing teams to ensure alignment with customer-facing activity. About You: Experience in FMCG account management, ideally within drinks or hospitality. A solid understanding of the On Trade and wholesale landscape. Previous experience working with wholesale partners or RTM channels is highly desirable. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Commercially sharp with confidence in using data to inform decision-making (Excel skills a must). Resilient, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
