About the Role
Are you a qualified tax professional looking to make an impact in a global, high-profile FMCG business? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the in-house tax team of one of the world\’s most prestigious producers and distributors of premium spirits and wines. As a Tax Accountant, you\’ll work closely with the Tax Manager and wider finance team to support the Group\’s corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory responsibilities. This is a varied role with the opportunity to get involved in areas such as employment tax, transfer pricing, and plastic packaging tax, with full training provided where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare UK corporate tax returns and supporting analyses
- Deliver tax computations, current and deferred tax notes for statutory accounts
- Prepare IFRS tax reporting for group consolidation
- Support with PAYE Settlement Agreements and Corporate Interest Restriction returns
- Assist with quarterly plastic packaging tax returns
- Contribute to tax governance, transfer pricing documentation, and process improvement
- Provide internal advisory support on UK tax matters

- A professional accounting/tax qualification or significant relevant experience
- Strong corporation tax and tax accounting knowledge (practice or industry)
- Familiarity with tax software (e.g., Alphatax) and Excel proficiency
