National Account Manager – Grocery – Remote 12-Month FTC – MAT Cover | Competitive Package This is a superb opportunity to join a leading drinks business on a pivotal grocery role, managing two key customers – Morrisons and Booths. With full P&L ownership and the chance to deliver against ambitious growth targets, this position offers genuine autonomy and visibility within the commercial team. About the Role As National Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of the Morrisons, MDaily, and Booths accounts – driving net sales, margin, and volume while ensuring strong JBP alignment and best-in-class execution. Working cross-functionally with Category, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, you’ll deliver commercially sound plans that maximise visibility, distribution, and profitability. Key responsibilities include: Building and negotiating Joint Business Plans to deliver sustainable growth. Leading promotional strategy and execution, aligning to ATL campaigns and key seasonal events. Managing full P&L responsibility across assigned accounts, with accountability for profit, rate and volume delivery. Driving insights-led conversations with buyers, ensuring data translates into actionable plans. Leading internal and external business reviews to track performance, highlight opportunities, and address challenges. Ensuring operational excellence through accurate forecasting, claims management, and promotional planning. About You We’re looking for a commercially astute operator with proven success in grocery account management, ideally with Top 4 exposure. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment and bring both strategic thinking and sharp executional skills. What we’re looking for: 2+ years’ experience managing grocery multiples (Morrisons experience highly desirable). Full P&L ownership and ability to deliver against key commercial metrics. Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and resilience when navigating challenging buyers. Wine/spirits experience advantageous, though not essential. Confident in Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen eye for detail. Why Join?
