An exciting opportunity has opened with a growing premium drinks business looking to accelerate its footprint across the DACH region. This is a highly autonomous international commercial role with ownership of Germany, Switzerland and Austria — combining distributor leadership, direct retail management and market expansion strategy across some of Europe’s most important premium drinks markets. The Role

Reporting into the European Sales Director, you’ll take full commercial responsibility for the DACH region, leading distributor performance in Germany whilst directly managing key retail relationships in Switzerland and supporting future expansion into Austria.

  • Leading and developing a major distributor partnership across Germany
  • Driving joint business planning, commercial strategy and execution
  • Managing direct relationships with key Swiss retail customers
  • Negotiating listings, pricing, promotions and commercial agreements
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and route-to-market expansion across Austria
  • Delivering strong execution across distribution, visibility and promotional activity
  • Monitoring market performance, competitor activity and commercial opportunities
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain and European leadership teams

About You

We’re looking for a commercially driven international drinks professional who enjoys operating with autonomy and ownership. Ideal backgrounds could include:

  • Premium drinks, wine, spirits, beer or broader FMCG beverage experience
  • Distributor management and/or international market leadership experience
  • Strong retail commercial capability
  • Experience managing JBPs and commercial negotiations
  • Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and highly proactive mindset
  • Strong understanding of the German and/or Swiss market landscape
  • German language skills advantageous but not essential

This role would suit someone currently operating at NAM, SNAM, International Account Manager, Export Manager or Country Manager level looking for broader ownership and visibility.
