Job Title: Assistant Category Manager
Location: Andover – Hybrid
Salary: Up to £45,000
The Advocate Group are seeking a commercially focused category executive to develop the European product categories and increase regional effectiveness.
Overview
The European Product Category Manager will drive product category growth across the region, focusing on NPD, strategic marketing, and effective execution in local markets. You will work closely with the Europe Category Manager to ensure consistency, alignment, and measurable success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & NPD: Manage the NPD process from concept to launch with the Europe Category Manager, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Team Support & Training: Coach local marketing teams on category strategies and identify skill gaps to create tailored training programs.
- Promotions & Campaigns: Oversee promotional activities (e.g., Black Friday, seasonal) and ensure alignment across the region.
- Digital & Online Support: Provide accurate product data to the digital content team for web activities and ensure consistent online presence.
- Strategic Programs & Partnerships: Lead the OTS program and Amazon strategy, collaborating with commercial teams to drive brand growth and optimize product offerings.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven product management experience with strong commercial knowledge

- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Fluency in English and strong understanding of market trends
