The Admissions Academy, founded by two Oxford graduates with over 15 years of tutoring experience, is dedicated to providing exceptional educational support from prep school to university. We specialise in school and university admissions, exam preparation, and personalised academic assistance across a broad range of subjects, including 4+/7+/8+, ISEB Common Pre-Test, 11+, Common Entrance, 13+, 16+, GCSEs, IGCSEs, A-Levels, IB, and Pre-U. Our tutors, many of whom are subject experts and former classroom teachers, are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. In addition to personalised tutoring, we offer revision programs and pre-teaching courses to help students excel academically. Our team includes specialists in Oxbridge and independent school admissions, ensuring tailored guidance for students applying to prestigious universities.
We are looking to expand our team of tutors who are able to offer in‑person 11+ and 13+ tuition in London. The application process will consist of an interview, short mock lesson and references. If you are successful, we will add you to our database of tutors and be able to offer you contractual work on a job‑by‑job basis.
What we are looking for:
- Someone with a strong academic background and tutoring/teaching experience
- Someone who has experience preparing students for selective school entry (4+/7+/11+/13+/Common Entrance exams)
- Someone who can offer in‑person lessons in London
Other information:
- Must have an enhanced DBS and be registered on the DBS update service or be willing to undergo this process with our company as the sponsor
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
- Pay will be in line with previous experience
- Tutors are self‑employed and responsible for their own taxes and expenses unless otherwise agreed
