This is an FCA-regulated advisory role. Applicants must have experience providing regulated employee benefits advice. HR or benefits administration experience alone is not sufficient.

Location: Solent P015 7FX

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours

Qualification Required: Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits professional to join our advisory team, providing specialist advice to corporate clients across our established Employee Benefits proposition. This is not an HR generalist or internal HR benefits administration role; it is a regulated client-facing advisory position requiring technical knowledge of employee benefit schemes, compliance processes, and financial planning principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality advice on employee benefit schemes to corporate clients
  • Achieving agreed new business and income generation targets
  • Preparing and presenting professional Client Proposition documents
  • Conducting regular reviews in line with service level agreements
  • Ensuring full adherence to processes, FCA guidelines, and compliance standards
  • Maintaining required CPD and IDD
  • Presenting complex benefit concepts clearly to employers and employees
  • Building strong relationships with clients, product providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting senior management as required
  • Making confident use of relevant IT systems and tools

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience in the Employee Benefits sector (corporate benefits advisory or consultancy)
  • Experience working with flexible benefit platforms
  • Strong ability to analyse complex information

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping ability
  • IT literacy (including above-average Word & Excel competence)
  • A professional, confidential approach with strong client-care standards
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
