About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior/Principal Patient-centred Outcomes Research Scientist! In this exciting 9-month contract role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting initiatives. Your expertise will help shape the development and implementation of innovative patient-centred measurement strategies, working closely with a diverse team of PCOR scientists and cross-functional stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
- Developing Strategies: Craft and strategically execute patient-centred measurement strategies throughout the drug development lifecycle in collaboration with study teams, global development teams, and lifecycle teams.
- Collaborating with Experts: Partner with data science and operations experts during study start-up, monitoring, and close-out phases, specifically concerning clinical outcome assessments. This includes implementing electronic clinical outcome assessments (COAs), conducting linguistic validation, and performing user acceptance testing.
- Innovating Measurement Tools: Assess the need for new measurement tools to effectively capture the patient experience and ensure their successful deployment.
- Providing Expertise: Offer subject matter expertise in clinical trial delivery aspects such as measurement/digital strategy, linguistic validation, eCOA, and site and patient engagement related to COAs.
What We Are Looking For:
- Educational Background: A minimum of an MSc in Public Health, Psychology, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience Required: Experience in developing and implementing patient-centred measurement strategies, along with a track record in planning, execution, and dissemination of patient-centred evidence. This experience can be gained in a pharmaceutical company or consultancy.
