About the role

Location: Leeds, LS1 5AA

Salary: 26k-36k DOE

8.00am-5.00pm 3 days in the office, 2 WFH

Join our team to manage a diverse range of Property Services roles for Local Government and not-for-profit clients, developing a niche specialism within Asset Management, Compliance and Surveying services.

From supplying into our current PSL clients through to developing and building your own portfolio of customers, you’ll handle it all.

We seek a sales-driven individual who has recruitment experience in these vertical fields, or someone who has recruitment experience in the public sector, who is unafraid to engage in business development on the open market whilst simultaneously nurturing our warm client base. We are expecting the right candidate to be comfortable making proactive calls, enthusiastically connecting with smaller clients, showcasing, and selling our comprehensive offerings.

The Team

This role sits within our Public Sector team here based in central Leeds and works underneath our Allan Madden, our Senior Business Manager of Property Services across the North, and alongside our fantastic Delivery Consultant Cristina Baraganu. Allan possesses over 10 years of experience on the market and enjoys continued success each year, meaning he has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. He is excited to share his knowledge and market expertise with his new team member to further increase our presence within the market.

What you\’ll be doing

Operating on a split desk between temporary and permanent positions but primarily focusing on temporary roles, this position calls for a fresh and dynamic perspective, infusing innovation into the recruitment process.

You will specialise in the Property Services vertical where your expertise lies, serving as the go to ‘expert’ for both candidates and clients. Your primary responsibility will involve targeting line managers within that designated vertical, aiming to maximise opportunities for business acquisition and overall success.

This candidate will:

  • Business Development
    • Build client relationships by demonstrating your credibility and expertise to effectively secure their business
    • Closely follow individual client strategies to gain trust and consistency from clients, underpinned by regular sales calls and networking
    • Market map to build out all market potential and knowledge – you will do this by cross selling to other vertical experts in your team to optimise client wins
    • Identify sales leads for the team wider team to help develop and increase our presence within key clients
  • Candidate Management
    • Build a suitable talent pool of candidates through thorough market mapping to enable you to present the highest calibre of talent to your client
    • Manage the candidate sourcing process and identify suitable candidates through screening in accordance with the client’s agreed requirements and agreed service levels
    • Arranging interviews, preparing candidates for interview, taking client and candidate feedback
    • Maintaining relationships with both registered and placed candidates including placement administration and aftercare.

An existing recruitment background in any of the above verticals would be advantageous, but we are open to public sector recruitment experience too. Alongside this, we’re looking for someone with:
